  • check from employer

I am going to renew my H1B with same employer as my 3 years going to complete on sept. 2009. I know there are following fees suppose to be paid by employer. Here problem is... My employer facing financial prblem so sometimes my paycheck get bounce and some times my employer giving pay check late. Basically I am worried if he will write a check for h1b and it will bounce. What will happen? Can I send cashier check instead. what are other option to overcome this problem?

    1. $320 check, made payable to "Department of Homeland Security" for H1B Filing.
    2. $750, check from employer, made payable to “Department of Homeland Security” for ACWIA fee, if employer has 25 or fewer full time employees, if seeking H1B.

    Thanks for you help.

to my knowledge if you renew your H1-B visa with the same employer you don't have to pay the $750.00 or $500 fraud detection fees (both are initial fees)
