  • H1B Stamping

My present H1B Stamping (with my previous employer) is valid till 21st may 2009. I have a approved petition with my new employer which is valid till 2nd September 2010. This was approved when I joined my new employer in 2007. Now I need to get my new stamping. Is it OK to go to CANADA and get this stamping process completed. I just have a Bachelors in Engineering from an Indian School and not a Masters from US school. How easy is it to get stamping in Toronto, ON, Canada in the given scenario. Help greatly appreciated.

Go for stamping only if you need it, preferably in your home country. If your I-94 is valid and petition is valid then you are fine.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

      H1B Stamping

Thanks for your reply. I need to go to Canada on official work, regularly, to visit our plant. I have my Canadian Visa which is Valid till 2010. Can I just get a new I94 based on my Petition at the border and continue going to Canada on official work (State of residence - MI)? Can I do the same for my wife and son?
