Earlier Denied B2, What is the effect on H4 application ?

Hi Guys

My wife has a denied B2 stamp on her passport from Chennai, India. She had applied for a visitors visa before our marriage as my girl friend and I was the sponsor for her at that time.

Now I want her to approach the embassy as a H4 dependent. Can anyone help me know if an earlier denied B2 visa would affect her H4 visa application when applying from India or any other country like UK or Canada.

No effect if everything is ok. H4 allows immigrant intent.
