H4 to H1 transfer - very urgent

Hi,

I am on H4 and recently I got my approval to H1b.
If I go to Canada or Bahamas for status conversion and if by any chance they don't stamp my H1b, will I still have my H4 to come back to USA or will they cancel my H4.

-- if US Embassy stamped your H1B then your H4 will be canceled by VO of US embassy. if you get any 221g of on H1B application then you can use your H4 visa enter back to the USA.
