doc required for H1 interview

I am attending for H1 stamping in mid of may at
US Consulate in London...can any one tell me..
1) what are the documents do i need to attend for the interview ..

I don't know the exact procedure at London, but do they require you to book appointments? If so, the appointment letter will have a complete list of mandatory documents and supporting documents.

2)my consultant had sent 2006 and 2007 tax papers..are they sufficient or do i need current year tax papers..

2008 is already over, won't you need that. These are not mandatory documents, but they may ask for it.

3)pls suggest if it is the right time to attend for attend for interview or should I wait..

It is up to you. There is no right or wrong time. When do you intend to travel and join the job?
