No EAC number obtained yet - H1 2010

There is no lottery this year but have not got no EAC number yet. Is this normal?? I am wondering if my application actually reached uscis.

Hello jinneebhat,

I received my receipt # today. My employer sent my H1application on Apr 8th and USCIS received on Apr 9th, under regular processing. I think the USCIS started opening the applications one by one and may be by end of july,should be receiving the approval/denial notices.
