Hello All,
A Direct employer has applied me for an H1B 2010 as a market Research Analyst on a part time basis starting Oct 1, 2009. Its an 8 employee silicon valley based company making about $1M/annum in soft ware sale.
I have earlier worked with this company during my OPT after i graduated with a degree in Finance in 2008.
Following is the sequence of events regarding my case-
April 1- Application sent.
April 28 - Receipt Notice.
May 15, 2009 - Soft LUD change, no change in case status.
May 16, 2009 - Hard LUD, RFE sent.
May 19, 2009 - Soft LUD change, no change in case status.
My employer checked with the lawyer and he still has not received any notice from the USCIS re. the RFE.
Meanwhile my employer forwarded me a copy of the case filed by the lawyer for my records and i noticed that even though my employed dates with the petitioner during my OPT period are correct on the resume (which i assume would have been attached with my case), but have been mentioned incorrectly on the supporting letter. Should this be a reason for concern?
Also, I noted that the petition does not mention the annual gross income of the employer and indicates the company being privately funded (Which is true). Can this be reason for the RFE?
Lastly, is it normal for a soft LUD change when an RFE has already been sent but not received by the lawyer.
I will appreciate the members of this forum to share any information that would be helpful.
