How can I get political asylum in US or GB,

I work in media as journalist and I am under persecution in my country, some men are threatening to kill me and my family. It was done publicly and even Euro commission condemned the fact

so I am interested how can I get asylum in usa or GB and what I get if I am granted? also can my wife and 10 months old child get it also as they are under threats as well
