Doubt about form I 539 when applying from India.

Hi,

Here is my question.

I was working on H1B visa in US till January 09 and got laid off and then my H1 extension was denied so i came back to india.
Now i want to apply for H4 from Hyd consulate
So my question is
What are the exact set of documents i need ?

Will they be the documents required for H1 to H4 conversion(which includes I 539)
OR
Will they be the documents required for H4 only.

I-539 needs to submitted for COS if u r in US only. Now u have to apply for a new H4.hence, u need all documents needed for H4.
