Dear Sir,

I had applied for H1B on April 2007 and it got approved. I appeared for the VISA interview on April 2008 at Kolkata, I was given 221(g). I asked for the additional documents from my employer and I went back to the Kolkata consulate with the new set of documents from the employer. This time I was refused VISA and I was not given any letter.

This year (2009) another employer filed by H1 VISA and it got approved. I am residing in Bangalore. Do I need to go to Kolkata, since my previous stamping was rejected there. Or could I go to Chennai?

I saw the term "reapplication" in your website. Does VISA filing under a different employer is also called as "reapplication"? Does my case falls under "reapplication"?

Since my VISA was rejected earlier, does it make my case weak this year?

Please answer these questions. It would be of immense help to me.

1. If you are residing in Bangalore for at least last 6 months, you can go to Chennai.

2. It is reapplication in either case.

3. As long as you didn't any fraud yourself the first time, and if everything is in order, you are fine.
