Want to Save H1B

Hi,

I am having H1B Visa but currently I am in India and not sure if is it workable or not.

I traveled to US in December 2007 and stayed there till April 2009 from Company "X" (The Company who originally applied my H1B). Now I am with Company "Y" working in India only.

I don't want my H1B (which I got while I was with company "X" and I traveled too from that company) go waste (It will expire June 2010) and want to do something in this regard. Does any one know if there are any options available for me.

---- You have a total of 6 years from the date of approval of your H1 petition (i.e. H1 I-797). You can find a new employer in the US and transfer your H1 and it can be done from India. The process is no different and the fees are the same
