H1 to OPT possible?

Hey guys,
I have a strange situation and i need your advice on that.
I graduated in Dec 2008 and started working in a company on OPT. The Company filed H1 and i got it approved. Now I was told that i may loose the job in a month due to lack of funds. What should i do now? Im still under OPT until Oct 1st. Is there any possible way that the employer revokes the H1 before Oct 1st and i get my OPT status back? or H1 transfer is the only choice?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

H1 comes into effect only from Oct 1st. If you're working on OPT now, there is no problem until Oct 1st, even if you have no job.
