H4-H1-H4 Query urgent

Hi Friends,

My wife came to US on H4 status in 2005 and converted her H4 to H1 in 2006 with consulting company, she worked with one client for 1 year. She had a baby in 2007 year and she was in maternity leave during that time. Recently I applied the change of status from H1 to H4 (I-539) for my wife through my company and received a query from USCIS and asking about her pay stubs for one month to prove her employment with the company, but she didn't have any job from last one year and no pay slips are generated. What we need to do in this situation?

On a H1b, one has to be paid all the time. Any COS requires proof of current status being maintained properly. Your COS will be denied without paystubs as she has been out of status for so long. You will also face problems during the GC.
