Can I apply for H4 when I already have L1-Blanket

Hello,

My employer did L1 Blanket for me last year and its valid till 2011.
And my wife is in USA of H1B visa. My questions are:

1) Can I apply for H4, to go to US as a dependent?
2) If I can apply for H4 and I get my H4 stamped, will my L1-Blanket be still valid?

1. Yes
2. Depends on the VO. They may choose to mark it CWOP. You can mention that you may be back on L1 later and they could leave it valid.
