Hello..
My H1 is approved and gets activated from Oct 1st 2009. My OPT although ends on jan 2010, now ends on sep 30th 2009 due to H1 approval. My employer laid off the position last week and said that they would not revoke it till Oct 1st.
Am I eligible to apply OPT extension now with an offer letter from an e verified employer to extend my OPT from Oct 1st to next 17 months?
If not, is it possible if my employer revokes the H1 now itself?
If my employer revokes H1, does it mean that my status will be back on my present OPT which would be valid through my EAD dates?
