H1B after October 2009

Since this year's cap for H1B has not been reached and USCIS is still accepting applications, I have a question on this. If one gets an employment offer after October, can the employer still file for a H1B, or does the USCIS stop accepting applications?

Yes, if cap is not reached until that time.
