All,

I hold H1 with my current employer and i am notified that next week is my last week at work. There are couple of oppurtunities for partime (30 hours) week job with my employer. Will i need H1B ammendment for this ??

When i get let go next week, how long do i have to find another employer and transfer my H1b? Please adivse.... i am really stressed out

You need to find another employer ASAP and do the transfer. Once a transfer is done, when that transfer is approved then you may start working for the new employer.
I don't think you need any amendment for working 30 hours since it is the same employer.
