Post H1B extension questions

Hi All,

Thanks in advance for looking into my thread and answering me..

My H1B extension is approved and the questions are related to post extension period and they are

1. Do i need to have the H1B extension I-797A approval doc. (original) with me to extend my Driver license and SSN? how does it goes?
2. how can i extend the ITIN for my spouse who is on H4?
3. If i want to get stamping done in India, can i go any US embassy in india?
and what documents do i need to carry for stamping this time..i mean for extension stamping?

1. You need the I-94 at the minimum with you. The I797A is needed for visa/travel etc. SSN remains as is and there is nothing like an extension for SSN.
2. No extension needed. It remains.
3. Yes, Check VFS regarding restrictions.
Refer to relevant immihelp section for documents.
