L1 to H1 COS (H1 having same I94 number as L1)

Hi,

I'm on L1 visa through company A. I've got new H1 B Visa through company B which would be active from Oct 1st 2009.

I still want to continue with L1 after Oct 1, Do i need to do a leapfrog?
My employer B says that the I94 number on new approved H1 is the same as L1 I94 number, so i don't have to change my status back to L1. According to him i can continue working on L1 without any problem.

After reading few threads i'm loosing confidence on employer B.

Please help! I'm totally confused.

Employer B is an idiot and he is not qualified to give you the crap that you got.
