  • How to get H-4 for my Husband??

    To,
    All Senior Members (txh1b)

I am on H-1B in USA from 1st Oct 2009, stamping in passport is still not done. My husband has finished study in UK and currently on Post Study Work Visa (Like OPT) in UK. But, he has 4 times refusals for F-1 Visa in 2006 in India and 2 times refusals for B-1/B-2 in 2007 & 2008 in UK.

My concern is, How much chances are there for him to get H-4?????

He should face interview at US Emabassy in UK or in India????

Please help me out, as we are damn confused.

    Thank You Very Much

    1. Past F-1 rejections don't affect future H1/H4.
    2. He can do it in UK, if he wants to.

Documents needed to get H-4 at US Embassy in London

      To,
All Helpful Senior Members and all Advisers

I am in UK on student visa, finished study. I have 4 times F-1 Refusals in india and 2 times B-1/B-2 refusals in UK. My spouse was on F-1 Visa in USA, now on H-1b from 1st oct 2009. I am going to apply for H-4 at US Embassy in London.

      My Questions are:
      1. I want to know any specific documents I need rather than listed on immihelp website for my case????
      2. Can any one suggest the format of experience letter my spouse should get from employer????
      3. Any sound advice to boost my confidence???????????????

Please help me out, as this is my last chance as I consider...............

      Thank You for previous answers.

F1/B1 rejections do not impact H4 visa unless there was fraud involved in the past. F1/B1 requires non immigrant intent while H4 is dual intent.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
