  • Visa application question

On the VFS website it is asked:

Are you A resident of India/Bhutan An Indian citizen resident in the US

I am Indian citizen, was on F1 visa and my status has changed to H1b this year.

For confirmation: my status should be A resident of India/Bhutan. Is that correct?

    Thanks

Yes, if you're applying for visa from home country India.

      Thanks.

      Just to make sure again:

ON VFS website, I had prepared an application mentioning Indian Citizen Resident in the US since I was confused before.

I do not have an appointment yet. Should I just delete the application and start over again?

      Thanks

If you are currently residing in U.S and preparing an application to attend the H1B visa interview, then choose "An Indian citizen resident in the US". Otherwise (If you have completed your studies and went back home) choose "A resident of India".

Yes, you can delete the application and start over.
