I am currently working as H1 and company will sponsor GC in a few months.

If I marry a foreign national while I am still H1, and then receive my GC, what will happen to my wife's status?

Don't worry. Your green card processing will take many years.

You can include your wife in the processing any time before your green card is actually approved in the last stage. In fact, you don't have to include your wife in first two steps even if you are already married.
