  • Question on contract to hier

    Hi,

If we join an employer on basis of contract to hire, is it possible to back out by refusing to renew the contract and getting hired as full time?

Are there any risks associated with this? Do we need to mention this option in the docs before taking up the offer as contract to hire?

    >>>> Possible.

Do we need to mention this option in the docs before taking up the offer as contract to hire?

    >>>> That won't work. If the employer decides to let you go, then there is nothing you can do. The main reason behind "contract to hire" positions are to anaylse the individuals potential to work on a project and based on that, they can either hire you or let you go.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.

All states are right to work states. You can choose not to join or the employer can release you anytime.
