Resident of Mumbai booked H1B appt in Delhi

Hello,

I'm a resident of Mumbai who is going back to India this time to get my h1 stamp for teh first time. I dont know how but I managed to select New Delhi as my interview location. I cannot cancel the appointment as I canceled it once before.
I called up the vfs centers in Delhi and Mumbai. The Delhi center said I can go to Delhi for the interview but the Mumbai center said I cannot, that I have to go to Mumbai only. Can anyone please provide any insight? What should I do?

Since you are a returning worker, you may go to any consulate. Go to ND as per your appointment.
