h1b issuance in London for a resident Indian

Hello fellows,
I m in UK now and i need to get my h1b visa issued out soon.
I have taken a date for interview in London(12th Nov) and another date in Delhi in Dec.
Can anyone please tell me if there's any problem in getting the visa issued out from a US Consulate outside India when the applicant is a permanent resident of India?

But is it OK if i have been a resident of UK for just over 2 months?
Although I do have a residence address here.
My official consulate as written in the approval notice is New Delhi.
Is that a problem?
