221(g) cant see my case number

I attended the US Consulate for Visa stamping on 9th December 2009. I was given a 221(g) form and a case number(2009 xxx xxxx xxxx). I have submitted all the documents and queries that were asked by the counsulate at the window and sent it to the email id provided([email protected]) and have also received an automated confirmation mail. But, i dont see my case number in the website provided http://hyderabad.usconsulate.gov/221g.html for the status of my case.( Which is a pdf file and the updated date is 14th december 2009).

Is there something that i am missing? Please let me know on the process or as to why my case number isnt showing up. has anyone of you faced this issue? I have also sent an email to the VFS guys but no reply yet. What would be the right course of action at this point of time?

221g case number not appearing in the website

we attended the visa interview on Nov 2nd and we got 221g pink form.we sent the email on 3rd Nov,but our case number got updated NEXT WEEK in the website.

it takes one week time to get updated into the website.So dont worry.They update the website only on Monday and thursday.

we got the visa on Dec 2nd.We were bit unfortunate as there were many holidays durirng our processing time.

So dont worry abt the Visa.U will surely get it in 1 or 2 weeks time.

Sirisha..thanks a lot. I was a bit worried as it has been quite a few days. My vacation time is running out. Also, in the list i see my serial number skipped. There are numbers which are beofre me and some after me. i am not sure if their is a pattern in them administering the process. Thanks for the help, i will keep ou all posted. meantime if anyone has a different opinion or suggestion, i would be glad to hear.
