Request for changing appointment due to medical reason

Dear Sir,

I had reserved for an appointment in Chennai consulate H1B visa stamping along with the dependents (wife and daughter). But my wife had a medical emergency and had to undergo a surgery today. So she will not be able to attend the interview with me. Could you please let me know whether there is any different procedure for the cancellation and movement of appointment for dependents only in such an unfortunate scenario?

Or you can schedule a new appointment for all of you.
