I am going to India to get a new H1B stamped. I was wondering if I need to send with my package a copy of my previous visa which was F1. I understand that is expected only if you are going in for visa renewal, but some travel agency claims I have to throw in my previous visa copy too. I am afraid this would create a confusion for people handling my papers at the consulate. What are your suggestions? Send a copy or not?
