Passport with extension for H4 stamping

Hello,


My wife has H4 visa interview this month end. I have couple of quetions.

1. My wife's passport expiry date is mentioned as 4/June/2009 and it got extended till 2014, but this extension is mentioned in one of the leaf pages of the passport and first page of passport still has the expiry date as 4/June/2009. Will it be a problem. Should my wife get new passport?

2. Should I have to give my ORGINAL H1b approval(I797) notice to my wife or just photocopy. Currenly I live in US.

1. No issues. You can mention that to immigration officer.
2. Copy should be enough.
