H1B transfer

Hi,

I recently Applied for a H1 Transfer from Company A to Company B on Dec5th and was pproved on Jan 7th. my question is My Current Visa expires on 8/31/2009, and I am travelling Back to India to get married sometime in March, so Can I visit the consulate and get the Visa stamped for renewal along with my spouse (new H4 application)?

And I assume the new H1 will have 3 years validity from the date it was issued( My orignial petition was approved on Nov 2007 and I came to US in Feb 2008)

Yes.
You will get visa until petition expiry date.
