  • H1B Transfer Question - URGENT

    Hi,

I ve been working in US for the past 3 years in a reputed company. I have my H1B till 2006. Now Since i got a new offer and am planning to change my job, i ve applied for my H1B transfer with my new company in Premium Processing. I' ve told my new company that i will be joining them as soon as the H1B transfer process is approved. If INS rejects this new transfer VISA for any reason, can i still work with my old H1 visa in my old company? will this denial of my transfer impact in any way to continue my current job assignment in my existing company. Please respond immediately.

    Regards,
    Raj.

You can still work for old H1 company as if nothing happened.

Of course, if the reason for rejection is something like they find something serious like you are terrorist, you have raped someone or murdered or anything like that, you would be deported and can't work in any company, new or old.
