Tax docs: W2 and 1040

I wonder if we are supposed to have the W2 and 1040 while on F1 status (before H1). I'm currently on H1 status and have the 1040 and W2 for the last year. But I dont have the old W2's with me (while on F1) and I'm afraid if this will cause problems. If yes, if there is a way to retrieve these files possibly from IRS?
