    H1 Stamping In feb 2010

    Hey Guys

    I am resident of Andhra pradesh going for getting my h1 stamped from US in 2nd week of feb. Can I book a appointment for interview at the chennai consulate rather than Hyd.

    I am asking this because VFS site is mentioning some jurisdictions

    Is this a new rule or a existing one.

    Please clarify ASAP.

    If you have an address in TN, if asked to prove your state of residence be prepared to prove TN. Normally one should go to Hyd.

      Look at 'State of Residence' at https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visas/v...-usa-visa.html

      If you are from Hyderabad, you will have to take the appointment in Hyderabad. You can not go to Chennai.

        It depends!

        If you are an Indian Citizen residing in the US, you can go to any Consulate you want to.
