Green Card ReEntry in US

Hi All,

I have this request for some of my friend's Mother who has Green Card but she had to visit India for some family reasons and stayed there for a while which more than 2-3 years.
we would appreciate if someone can suggest that how she can apply for permission to reenter to US to visit here to family. She has Green Card but she overstayed out of US for more than 2 years.

Any suggestion and Advice would be of great help and highly appreciable.
