  • DS -160 Person Travelling with you

    hi,

    i have 2 kids, one born in india and the other US citizen.

    If my wife has to take an appointment for H4 visa, Since the US born does not require visa to travel back to USA , should the spouse have to enter the details of the US born kid along with the indian born in the column "Persons travelling with you"? in the new form DS 160 .

    Yes!

    Please enter the details of the people that will be traveling with you. If the VO asks about them, you can mention that they already have a valid visa or, in your case, your son is a US Citizen.

      You don't enter any details about US citizens there.

        What if s/he has a valid US Visa?

        Thanks Admin

        What if the person traveling with you is not a US Citizen, but a valid US H1B Visa holder? Do we still need to enter their details?

            though we dont enter the details of US citizens in the "Persons travelling with you" field of DS 160, will there not be any problem at the time of travel? for those kids whose details have not been mentioned at the time of filing H4?

              Clarification

              @Pasumarthi25

              These details are only for the visa interview. They are not used at the time of your travel. All that matters when you are traveling is to have valid visas for all passengers.
