visa appointment related question

Hi,

I shifted 3 months back from hyderabad to banglore( moved to new job parminently) . When I tried to book my Visa appointment date, what shoud i put the state of residence. Is it AP or karnataka.

I have a seen a message that I should stay atleast 6 months to put as that is my state of residence( karnataka in my case).

can anybody clarifies this issue

If you current permanant residence is Karnataka, then you can choose the consular district for Karnataka while booking the visa appointment. A "proof of residence" letter from your employer is all that you require along with any other address proof that you have.
