H1B transfer from India

Hi all,

I have a valid H1B (2009), due to market situation my employer is not ready to give me a flight to US. I don't know when the market will come up and when they will allow me to fly.

My query is

Is it possible to try and get a job in US from India, then transfer my H1B from my current employer to new employer?

PS: I don't have any US paystubs from my current employer.

Kindly guide me on this.

Possible. No need for pay slips if you have never been on H1B status. However the receipt number of the approval notice (Even better if you have a copy of the approval notice) is required for transfer.
