I am currently on H4 visa, but temporarily working in Canada on a work permit. Now I have an employment offer in US and want to convert the visa to H1 (non cap). My employment start date is July 1st. Once I have the H1 approved, is there any restriction on the date of entry into US on H1 visa i.e. can I come to US in June 1st week on H1. Would appreciate if some one on this forum can clarify my doubt. Thanks!

You can enter US when you wish, as long as there is job for you.
Have latest employment offer letter before entering. -
When you are in H1B, you need to be working and getting paid in order to stay in status. So if your employment start date is July 1st, then it is not advisable to try and enter in the first week for June.Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.Comment

You may only enter 10 days prior to the start date of your H1b.
