Urgent Help - Indian Passport Name Split and visa attending
Dear Experts in the forum -
I have my surname as blank and given name as AAA BBB and I would like to get it split as Surname: BBB and Given name: AAA and also I will be visiting India for visa stamping. Can I reissue the passport with updated name and then apply for US visa? But my I 797 will have my old name. Will that be a problem during interview? Or else should I get the stamping done with my old name and then apply for my new passport with new name? If so, how will it affect my I 94? Will my I 94 be based on my new passport name or the name on visa (with old name)? Please help
