Hi,
I attended my visa interview for H1B at the Chennai consulate in February 2010 during which I was given a 221(g) document. The VO has asked for all the documents from my employer. My employer compiled the entire list and sent it to me after a couple of weeks which I forwarded it to the consulate along with my passport on the very next day. After 2 weeks I got an other 221(g) document asking for the same set of documents to be resubmitted. Could you please help me understand what this exactly means. Why would the consulate ask for the same set again? Is it because my case wasn't presented properly? Please do let me know. My employer is a mid-sized product development company which has offices across the globe. Any insight would be deeply appreciated.
