New Born baby Passport in india

Hi,

I went to district passport office and enquired about documents required to apply passport for new born baby.They told that local area certificate and birth certificate required.I gone through some posts they mentioned only birth certificate required.
Any body know what are all the documents required to apply passport for 3 months baby.

Birth certificate and true copies of parent passports - all pages.
