Can I take my 8mos old son for visa interview

Myself and my husband should go for a visa interview during our visit to india. my son was born here in US, so he doesnt need a visa. But i dont have anyone to take care of my baby when I go for the interview. In this situation, can I hold him with me while appearing for the interview? He is only 8mos old.

Yes. Make sure to carry his US passport when you go there.
