  • H1b problem

    Hi,
    I reside in India. My employer filed for an h1b on my behalf and it was approved but now he is refusing to send across the approval documents unless I send him money. I found out about a form I824 on USCIS website by searching online.
    My questions
    1. If I fill this and send it to USCIS will they send the I797 to me?
    2. Is the I797 the only document needed to get stamped?

    Any one can help.
    Thanks and waiting for your replies.

    1. If I fill this and send it to USCIS will they send the I797 to me?
    >>> I-797 is employer's document. Whether they decide to give it to them or not is totally upto the employer. If you need a copy, you need to get it from your employer.

    2. Is the I797 the only document needed to get stamped?
    >>> No. Check this.
