221(g) Case Number

I attended my H1b visa interview at Chennai on 9th March. The VO, after 5 mandatory questions, handed me blue 221g form. Since i had all the documents that were asked in 221g, i told him so and handed over all the documents to him along with my original I797, Offer letter, Passport, Blue 221g.

My questions are:
1. What i did was correct or not
2. I failed to note down the case no. Is there any way i can find out my case no., so that i can check my status on line?
3. Usually how long does this administrative process take
4. Are there any chances of rejection

>>> Every case is different. Hard to predict.

>>> Again, hard to predict. If you have all the required documents, then the chances of successful stamping is good.
