Hello,
My H1b petition is good until 2021 but I got laid off. My last official day for work with company was today. My grace period starts tomorrow. I have already started applying for jobs. I understand that I can start working for a new employer as soon as employer receives receipt for h1B petition delivery to USCIS. There are few different questions that are coming in my mind.
1. If I find a job within grace period and start working based on the receipt and the actual H1B petition gets rejected later (after 60 days from now), Will I get another grace period of 60 days to find job? if not, how many days will I get to wrap up things here in USA?
2. What will be the best course of action in the situation of new H1B petition rejection if I want to come back to USA for work in future?
