Hello
I have a Q in filling DS160.

Q: education/ employment details:

I could answer only the current employment details.

It didn't pop asking for previous education and employment(in last 5 years) etc.


Please advice. Thanks

H1B

I'm going for first stamping in Chennai, India and trying to fill in DS160 FORM. I thought we should fill past education and employment details, but I could fill only present employment details.

Whatever has been asked, just fill that. Don't get worry about other things. Rest of the experience/education letters, you can carry with you while going for the visa interview.

Thanks for your response. I have another quick question.

I was on F1 and later applied and got H1B approved.

Q: Have you ever been issued Visa
A: Yes

Q: Are you applying in the same country where the visa above was issued and is this country your principal country of residence?

A: Is it Yes or NO?

I am 90% confident that answer should be YES.

Keep eye on this thread also.

And the best thing as per my experience I can tell you is, instead of getting in confusion, just give a call to VFS office. They will be open around 8am, and there answer will be the rock solid.
