H1B and H4 visa interview

Hi,

Current status: my wife has a Consular Processing approved H1B petition and she is currently working on OPT. I am working H1-B visa and plan to leave my job soon so want to switch to H4


Question: Can we both get our stamping done at the same time(in subsequent weeks)? i.e: She will get her H1B stamped and next week I will get my H4 stamped from the same consulate in Canada. Or is there a requirement that she needs to enter the US back on H1-B before I can apply for H4 visa?
