Change employer before Oct 1st

Hi, I am currently on OPT. Stem
opt started this month, so I can be on opt for 23 months from now. My h1b got approved in June and is applied with change of status. So I will be on h1b status from October 1st. Now, I have another job offer and want to join in September. Can I change the employer before October 1st?
