Hi,

I am on H4 Visa.My husband is in H1.
His H1 got expired , we applied for renewal and got the new I797.
But before we got the new I797, I travelled to India.
Now my husband will bring my new I797 with him when he comes to india.
Then we'll go for stamping.

1) Will there be any issues when we go for stamping as i did not give the latest I797 reciept when i left the country.

2) If our visa gets stamped, will we have any issues at the POE

If I understand correctly, it looks like you travelled to India when your extension was in progress with USCIS. And later it got approved with a new I-94 when you are in India. This should have no impact when you go for stamping or at the POE. However, when you re-enter U.S, you will be given a new I-94. Make sure you return the old I-94 that came with the approval notice back before it expires.
