I 94 extension

Hi,

I am having a valid visa till sep 2011. But when i entered into us i got my I94 stamped till aug 2010, because my passport was expiring in aug 2010. Now i am having new passport. How can I extend my I 94. What is the process?? Do I need to go out of the country or CBP can help me.

You need to go out of the country and re-enter (OR) file for an extension before the I-94 expires.
